Natalie Horler Vermögen – Natalie Horler is a British-German singer. She rose to prominence as the lead singer of the dance trio Cascada, with whom she has sold more than 30 million records worldwide. Horler’s parents relocated from the United Kingdom to Bonn – Küdinghoven in 1980, where she and her sister grew up.
Her father, jazz musician David Horler, is an English teacher, and her mother, Christine Horler, is a jazz musician. Horler was exposed to a variety of musical influences as a child, spending a lot of time in her father’s recording studio.
She decided to devote herself entirely to music after earning her advanced technical college entrance qualification at the Liebfrauenschule in Bonn. She began working in recording studios at the age of 17, recording tracks with various DJs.
She was a founding member of Cascada in 2002 and performed with the band in small clubs in the early years. Frank Ehrlich has been in charge of it since then. She also sang background vocals on Millane Fernandez’s single What a Good Man in 2004.

Yanou, who is now an integral part of the band, wrote the song. She auditioned for the Sat.1 casting show Star Search in 2004, but was eliminated in the second round. Horler received tap, jazz, hip-hop, and street dance training, as well as singing lessons, beginning at the age of fourteen.
She performed in a number of small amateur productions at the Theater of the American Settlement in Bonn as a child. In 2008, she sang at her father’s farewell concert with the WDR Big Band Köln as a singer. She has been married to Moritz Raffelberg, an ex-model, since May 2011. She gave birth to a daughter in September 2015.
Horler’s breakthrough came in 2005 with DJ Manian and Yanou as producers. Cascada’s most successful song to date was the single Evacuate the Dancefloor, released in 2009. Horler had to have vocal cord surgery in November 2010. All Cascada performances had been cancelled by early 2011.
With Cascada, Our Song for Malmö and the song Glorious, she won the German preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 on February 14, 2013. On May 18, 2013, she competed in the ESC final in Malmö, finishing 21st, Germany’s worst result since 2008.
Siria, her side project with DJ Manian, began in 2004. Endless Summer and I Will Believe It were the first two singles released, with I Will Believe It reaching number 23 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. In 2005, she released the song Sometimes with 2 Vibez.
Horler was featured in the German edition of the men’s magazine Playboy with a photo series in August 2011. She was a juror on the RTL casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar from January to April 2012, alongside Dieter Bohlen and Bruce Darnell.
